A Thousand Years

Although I have yet to walk hand in hand with my own, I know wholeheartedly that person exists. I believe we all have one. That one match that is far above all others. Our other relationships along the way have their importance too (even the ones that don't happen), because they've had their part in preparing us for that special one. They also help us better know ourselves so we'll be more able, open and accepting when we finally meet them. Without  knowing what we don't want we'll never know what we do. Some of us continue to be with the same types of people over and over again. Maybe because it's somehow in our comfort zone. The problem with that is if you keep re-reading the same chapters, the ending will never change. If we don't find our soulmate in this life then future lives simply must exist because we all deserve to find that one true love! This is what I love about the words of this song. It says a lot to me and the thought of what it says makes me smile!
